Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions apply to Varkuna FTP (the "Application"), together with any related services operated by Ali Osman KAHRAMAN (the "Service Provider"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
Service
Varkuna FTP provides tools for saving FTP and SFTP connection profiles, managing credentials locally, browsing remote directories, and transferring files between your Android device and servers you are authorized to access.
The Application is ad-free. The current version does not include PRO features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
Authorized use only
You may use Varkuna FTP only with servers, accounts, networks, directories, and files that you own or are authorized to access.
You must not use the Application for unauthorized access, credential theft, unauthorized data transfer, abuse, disruption, or activity that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
License to use the Application
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Application on a compatible Android device for personal or internal business use.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, extract source code, resell, redistribute, or create derivative versions of the Application except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Credentials and device security
You are responsible for the accuracy and security of server addresses, usernames, passwords, private keys, private key passphrases, and connection profiles.
You should delete credentials you no longer need, use a strong device screen lock, and keep private key files secure.
File operations
Uploads, downloads, deletes, renames, folder creation, moves, and similar file operations performed through Varkuna FTP take effect on the selected remote server or local device.
You are responsible for checking the target directory, file names, transfer direction, and operation impact before starting file actions. Incorrect file operations may cause data loss, file corruption, or unwanted server-side changes.
No advertising or in-app purchases
The current version of Varkuna FTP does not display ads and does not offer PRO features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
If paid features, subscriptions, or third-party services are introduced in the future, the relevant terms and privacy documents will be updated.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Application in a way that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, disruptive, or inconsistent with its intended purpose.
You must not attempt to interfere with the Application, third-party servers, networks, accounts, security features, or platform systems.
Availability and updates
The Application may be updated, changed, suspended, limited, or discontinued. Some features may depend on Android, device compatibility, network connectivity, remote server configuration, file permissions, or regional availability.
The Service Provider does not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
No warranty
The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, compatible with every server, or suitable for every specific purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss, file corruption, server damage, connection interruption, credential loss, business interruption, lost profits, or damages arising from use of the Application.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection laws.
Termination
The Service Provider may suspend or terminate access to the Application or related services if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Application, violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property rights, or create risk for the Service Provider, third-party services, or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Application ends.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Service Provider is established, excluding conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the Application changes, platform requirements change, features change, or legal requirements change. Continued use of the Application after updated Terms are published means you accept the updated Terms.
